It has been my lifelong dream to help others who have suffered mental scars from their journey through life. My inspiration for this desire came from an experience my older sister went through when I was only 12 years old. I wanted to help her but didn't know what to do at such a young age. While enrolled in college I was mostly interested in my psychology classes. Later, after graduating, I received my certification to be an instructor for a communication class focused on listening skills when in my late 20's and have used those skills throughout my life to listen to people who needed an ear that was willing to bear their burdens. A friend told me about Abide Network and I immediately started the training. I completed Part 1 & 2 in 2025 and am so thrilled to be doing what I believe God called me to do. Even though I couldn't help my sister many years ago, it is a privilege and honor to help those who come to me for help today!
