Rochelle Mekowulu has provided mentorship and coaching to individuals for well over a decade. She has had the pleasure of speaking before audiences both nationally and internationally on a variety of topics ranging from Biblical subjects, health, entrepreneurship, and understanding one’s purpose and calling. As a problem solver, she works with clients to get to the root of the issues and develop practical solutions to not only survive but thrive in life.
She especially enjoys helping clients to develop greater clarity in life, development of life skills, and walking in their God-given purpose. Aside from working as a mental health coach, she also provides career and business coaching.
What do I like best about coaching?
I absolutely love the dawning of light that comes across my clients’ faces, as they are able to see hope in situations that looked utterly dark. I love the flicker of joy that comes when you help them to see beyond where they are to where they can be. I absolutely love the realizations that problems that seemed so insurmountable are really manageable because we have broken them down into bite-sized pieces. In short, there is nothing like helping people become the best versions of themselves.
Why did you choose to do coaching?
I’m not sure that I chose to coach as much coaching chose me. Throughout my life, I have been that person that people confide in and turn to for emotional support. Coaching is an extension of what I have always been doing but never put a title to it. I believe that coaching provides people the listening ear that many are desperate for, as well as the support and accountability that they need to implement lasting changes.
How do I recharge on my days off?
I like to recharge with time in hanging with family or friends, a good book, nature…
My three favorite things?
Jesus and family, strategizing, writing…
