Why I'm a coach:
I read Jennifer Jill’s books, and joined a book club to discuss the books as I read them. I knew the author was a counselor, and an SDA, so I asked if I could talk to her. I found out from her, she has a passion to help people and so do I. I knew God had brought me through some tough times for a reason, and this was it; so I could help people. So I took her Masters Helper Training course and became a certified life coach.
What I love most about coaching:
I enjoy helping others by facilitating solution focused thinking and actions that individuals can use to promote healing and quality of life for themselves.
I recharge on my day off by:
My days off are usually filled with a mixture of chores and time spent making greeting cards from scratch for my friends, and family. In my down time, I like to sit with a hot cup of tea. I find the smell of scented candles to be enjoyable and will use them to gently light a room. They are soothing to the senses and this helps me regroup my thoughts and unwind. On Sabbath, you will find me relaxing near my fireplace listening to instrumental music.
My three favorite things:
Cotton candy
Almond scented spray or wax melts
