Why I'm a coach:
As someone who’s walked through anxiety and the pressure to hold it all together, I know what it feels like to look fine on the outside but feel completely exhausted inside. Managing thoughts and emotions before they manage you, setting boundaries, building healthier relationships — I get it. I know how frustrating it can get, and I also know how beautiful life can be when anxiety is managed, old patterns are broken, and relationships with those we love are better than ever before.
I believe God called me to be a minister of reconciliation during a time in my life where I was exploring different ministry opportunities after working for the church. I saw how Christians don't spend a lot of time talking about and healing their mental health, but they do spend a lot of time struggling with it. I wanted to bridge evidence-based mental health strategies with a faith based paradigm, and ditch the new-age stuff that pops up in psychology.
What I love most about coaching:
Listen, nothing is as bright as the glow emitted from someone who has experienced true healing and victory and is living a happier, healthier, holier life. Being invited into that journey and stepping into an almost sacred kind of space with someone is a great privilege.
I recharge on my day off by:
It fills me up to spend time with my incredible husband, Kyle, and my friends (who I think are some of the coolest people out there). Although I'm really outgoing, I'm fairly introverted, so spending time in creative outlets rejuvenates me. I also love birding and outdoor adventures, board games, and thrifting!
My three favorite things:
Unhurried time with God
Basically all plant-based Asian food (but I respect heat from a safe distance)
Andrew Peterson's music and storytelling
