A Weekend for Adventist Singles

July 24–26 | Spring Valley Academy | Dayton, Ohio

Finally, a Space Built for You

You're faithful. You're intentional. You're ready.

But finding meaningful connection in the Adventist community isn't always easy, especially when most church events aren't designed with singles in mind.

Try This at Home: Dating is a full weekend experience built specifically for Adventist singles ages 20–45 who are serious about community, growth, and the possibility of something more.

In one weekend, you'll move into genuine connection through honest conversation, shared experiences, and a community of people who understand exactly where you are.

This weekend is for you if:

  • You're an Adventist single between the ages of 20 and 45

  • You've never married, are divorced, or widowed and are open to new relationships

  • You're tired of hoping connection just "happens" and want to be in a room where it's the whole point

  • You want a faith-centered space that takes relationships seriously without taking itself too seriously

  • You're ready to show up, engage, and give this a real chance

Our Speakers

Jennifer Schwirzer and David Asscherick bring decades of combined personal and professional experience to the questions that matter most about relationships, faith, and finding the right person. This weekend they're bringing that wisdom into the room with you. Expect honest conversation, practical insight, and a warm environment designed to help you take real steps toward the relationship you're looking for.

Here's How the Weekend Works

Friday Evening:

Arrive & Connect

Check in, settle in, and meet the people you'll spend the weekend with. The evening opens with a message and a group activity, followed by an afterglow where the real conversations begin.

Sabbath:

Dig In

The heart of the weekend. Saturday is packed with programming, structured activities, outdoor time on the Spring Valley Academy grounds, meals together, and a live panel discussion featuring attendees sharing real talk about relationships and faith. Sabbath sundown opens into an evening of music and group activities.

Sunday:

Bring It Home

The morning begins with devotional worship and focused small group discussions. After lunch, there's time for outdoor activities at nearby Forest Field Park before the weekend closes with a consecration service where we say farewell.

What's Included:

  • Saturday lunch and supper

  • Sunday lunch

  • All programming, sessions, and activities

  • A personalized name badge
