About
Damsel, Arise! explores the story of womanhood: our creation, our brokenness, and our renewal through the love of Jesus. Together, we will consider how God meets us in wounded places, brings life where hope has faded, and transforms mourning into joy.
Brokenness itself is not good. Suffering, abuse, injustice, sickness, and every consequence of sin were never part of God’s original design. Yet even in a broken world, God remains mighty to save. He can redeem what the enemy has harmed and breathe new life into places that once seemed lost.
Jesus’ words to the young girl in Mark 5 still speak hope to women today:
“Damsel, arise!”
Rise from fear.
Rise from shame.
