Lay people and professionals of all kinds will benefit from this training in faith-based mental health coaching. This six-hour intensive begins the process of certification for those who wish to join the Abide Network as mental health coaches.

Certification Roadmap

Part One

1. Purchase Training

2. Complete Level 1 Courses

  • Watch video lessons.

  • Submit reaction papers to your Educational Supervisor.

3. Complete Practice Sessions

  • After finishing Level 1 courses, work with the Intake Supervisor to complete 10 practice sessions.

 4. Earn Level 1 Certification

  • Once all Level 1 requirements are met, contact your Educational Supervisor for certification.

 

Level 1 certification allows you to take on clients while working toward Level 2.

Part Two

5. Begin Level 2 Training

  • Watch additional courses and submit reaction papers to the Educational Supervisor.

  • Complete 40 practice sessions with help from the Intake Supervisor. (Sessions completed outside our system are welcome.)

6. Earn Level 2 Certification

  • Meet all Level 2 requirements and reach out to the Educational Supervisor for certification.

7. Set Up Coach Profile

  • After Level 2 certification, contact the Intake Supervisor for instructions on creating your coach profile.
