What do you like best about coaching?
I like that coaching is a partnership. The client is the expert in their life who decides on what is worth doing, while the coach provides the tools to reach the desired goals and to ensure successful change.
How do you recharge on your day off?
I enjoy hiking, skiing, swimming, spending quality time with family and friends, and reading.
Why did you choose to do coaching?
Mentors and teachers have encouraged me to study counseling or coaching. This option I forsaken till a certain point in my life, though I never forgot, and now I choose to do coaching because of my personal experience of its benefits. Through Christian coaching that upholds Christ as the ultimate Healer, I faced fears that I thought I could not overcome and find peace. I experienced coaching being a safe place to find practical help, support, a listening ear, empathy, trust, respect, and encouragement. This personal experience has opened my eyes to the pain of others and instilled in me the desire to assist others dealing with similar issues.
What are your three favorite things?
1. laughing
2. learning, and
3. living for others
