Why I'm a coach:

My journey to becoming a therapist/coach was deeply influenced by personal tragedies and transformative life experiences. In my 20s, I faced the loss of my mother to heart complications from cardiomyopathy and my sister to a drug overdose. At 26, I survived a severe car accident that resulted in multiple injuries, including three weeks in a coma, two strokes, and two brain injuries. This accident marked rock bottom for me and required a comprehensive rehabilitation process that was not only physical and cognitive but also spiritual, emotional, and social. These profound experiences shaped my empathetic approach to counseling and fueled my passion for helping others navigate their mental health challenges.

What I love  most about coaching:

What I enjoy most about coaching is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Seeing my clients overcome anxiety, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues, and witnessing their growth and progress is incredibly rewarding. I also find great satisfaction in helping couples rebuild their relationships and develop stronger communication patterns. The ability to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable and at ease is something in which I have excelled. Enriching the lives of others has truly enriched my life as well. Providing my clients with extremely simple but effective techniques is very inspiring. I value the connections I build with my clients very much as help them move toward a life they desire.

I recharge on my day of by:

On my days off, I recharge by spending quality time with my wife and our three awesome cats—Remi, Mozzie, and Zella. My wife and I love to travel and explore different cultures, which helps us gain new perspectives and cultural experiences. At home, I enjoy relaxing as much as I can, but there are always projects to start and finish:) The cats' playful antics are comforting and incredibly soothing. I also find joy in simple activities like reading and writing. These moments of relaxation help me to connect to God and myself, so I can stay focused and energized for my work.

My three favorite things:

Stacy's pumpkin muffins:)
